About the Role & Duties: Are you an experienced electrician looking for a stable, local role with the potential for permanent employment? Join the team at Orange Health Service and contribute to the smooth running of essential facilities at Orange Hospital!. As an electrician at Orange Health Service, your role will involve a range of tasks to ensure the hospital's electrical systems run efficiently and safely.

Your duties will include inspecting and maintaining circuit breakers, wiring, and electrical panels. Ensuring proper functioning of general, emergency, and exit lighting systems. Maintaining and testing backup generators, UPS systems, and automatic transfer switches. Ensuring a reliable power supply to critical medical equipment. Checking surge protection and dedicated circuits for sensitive medical devices. Inspecting and maintaining fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, and emergency alert systems. Monitoring and maintaining power distribution systems, including transformers and switchgear. Maintaining energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems. Testing and maintaining lighting for operating rooms and examination areas. Troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults or outages promptly. Keeping detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs for compliance.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM

Pay Rate: $50 flat rate

Job Type: Initially temporary with potential for permanent employment in the healthcare department after a period of time.

Must Have's: WWCC (Working with Children Check) - Paid employment (state-specific). PC (Police Check): No disclosable outcomes. Flu vaccination: current season.
