Automotive body painter
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $32.00 to $35.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Yellowknife, Northwest Territories (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice
Experience: 5 years or more
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Type of Work Experience: Paint spraying
Specific Skills: Review damage reports, Plan work to be performed, Mask and repaint car bodies, Apply primers and repaint surfaces, Polish painted finishes, Inspect repaired vehicles
Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Clean and maintain work space
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence
