Responsibilities: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Professionalism in customer service. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Credentials. Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses. AZ class license. Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
