What you'll be doing. The Decision Support Analyst is a member of the Decision Support Unit for North Shore Ryde Health Service (NSRHS). The work of the Decision Support Unit (NSRHS) is essential to informing the RNS and Ryde Hospital patient management and service planning and the optimisation of funding within an activity-based funding framework. Under the direction of the Manager Decision Support Unit (NSRHS), the role includes responsibility for extracting data and providing informed analyses of patient activity, hospital occupancy, and performance reporting.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the core values of our organization: collaboration, openness, respect, and empowerment. Tertiary qualification in business, information management, science, or health-related degree and/or extensive experience within a performance reporting team.
Well-developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with the demonstrated capacity to identify trends and issues and report risks to enable responsive service management and planning.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and to work independently as well as part of a team.
