Electrician, Smoke Alarm Technician, First State Smoke Alarms. Wollongong, Wollongong, Illawarra & South Coast NSW. Electricians (Trades & Services). Full time. $70,000 – $90,000 per year. First State Smoke Alarms are looking to add another electrician to our amazing team in a full-time capacity. 3rd or 4th year apprentices are welcome to apply.

This opportunity is the perfect role for electricians with a positive attitude and proven commitment. The role largely involves testing but is not limited to disconnecting/reconnecting smoke alarms in residential locations along with other property compliance work. Ceiling work or dirty work is not required and neither is shift work. Optional weekend work may be occasionally offered.

Candidates must be qualified electricians or apprentices.

This position will require regular travel around the Illawarra and Shellharbour regions with occasional travel down the South Coast and to Greater Sydney

You Must: Be a fully qualified electrician/late apprenticeship. Have a drivers licence. Be punctual. Have a positive attitude to employment. Be able to work autonomously. Be able to drive long distances when required. Have excellent communication skills. Be able to follow instructions. Be respectful at all times. Be well presented.
