ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE: As a senior risk analyst, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring and enhancing the risk assessment processes across facilities, detainee management, and transport operations. You will support the compliance framework by ensuring that risk assessments are informed by current data, academically sound methodologies, and expert insights. You will contribute to maintaining a safe, secure environment for detainees and staff by upholding rigorous quality standards, tracking key performance indicators, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
In your new role, you will: monitor and support high-quality, compliant risk assessments that address both historical and current information to inform well-rounded decision-making. Ensure risk assessments align with legislative and organisational standards, supporting defensible and transparent conclusions. Promote a positive workplace culture free from harassment and aligned with company policies and standards. Assist with KPI target achievement and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver Department of Home Affairs and company initiatives, including training and professional development programs. Support financial performance within budget and ensure responsible resource allocation in compliance with contract requirements. Contribute to team management by motivating, training, and supporting colleagues to maintain high performance and operational effectiveness. Hold formal qualifications in risk, security, or a related field, with management experience in detention, immigration, corrections, or a similarly complex environment.
ABOUT YOU: You are a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a background in risk assessment and a commitment to integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement. Your analytical skills, strategic thinking, and strong communication abilities enable you to support well-informed decisions that enhance organisational safety and accountability.
To be successful, you will: Obtain and retain all police/security clearances required within our industry. Pass any required health assessments. Pass a working with children check. Travel interstate and overseas as required to meet business needs. Provide proof of double vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in Australia. Undergo alcohol and drug testing as required by the business.
