Account Executive
POSITION SUMMARY:
Architech is one of the fastest growing technology firms in Toronto and we’re looking for a driven and talented Account Executive to join our team. This role requires strong sales skills within an existing group of accounts, coupled with the ability to take new leads within a vertical and grow them into stable, long-term accounts.
We’re an innovation accelerator. This means we help our accounts move through to a solution and launch faster than they might be accustomed to or expect. As a member of the Sales team, you’ll usher our clients through our approach, taking care to ensure all members of their team are as excited about our unique value proposition as our team is in launching the final products. You’ll be a part of a great team, including a technology strategist, the Sales team, our Solutions group, and the folks implementing your clients’ vision.
At your core, you know how to map an account. The concept of “know everyone” is trained and embedded into your core, and you are as comfortable in front of a C-level executive as you are supporting your team with a client’s technical architects. You can spot a quick win or a long-term account from the initial opportunity. And, you know how to allocate yourself against the accounts that will grow versus the accounts that won’t. Your range of enterprise clients will span multiple verticals and industries, and will include some of the leading organizations in North America.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Identify, qualify and win new business within your vertical and accounts that are aligned with Architech’s vision and business plan.
    Grow existing enterprise accounts year over year, supporting double/triple digit growth in each account.
    Grow our depth and breadth in existing accounts, expanding within current LOBs and into net new LOBs.
    Build, manage, and verbalize enterprise account plans to all team members.
    Drive the sales process to convert potential new clients in your vertical from prospect opportunities into secured engagements.
    Develop and take ownership for producing and managing your sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
    Work with clients to define and negotiate the terms of work for new engagements.
    Manage the entire SOW process, handling the drafting, contract terms, and final signatures of the contracts with support from different parts of the organization.
    Prepare and deliver winning client proposals and presentations with support from our Marketing & Communications team.
    Perform client analysis to qualify and size sales opportunities and potential target markets.
    Strategize with the Sales Director, Sales Technology Strategist, Solutions Team, and Marketing & Communications team to create relevant sales materials for your accounts and pursuits.
    Participate, and at times lead, key marketing initiatives - conferences, events, etc.
    Provide regular and accurate updates of sales activities using CRM (Salesforce).
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
    3+ years in an Account Manager-type role, with proven abilities in growing enterprise accounts in a solution selling manner..
    Self-starter, motivated to create new opportunities, relationships and drive sales results.
    Proven ability to secure new opportunities within accounts, grow stale accounts, and take new leads through the sales process.
    A proven trusted advisor across enterprise clients.
    Skilled ability to draw out, listen, fully understand and respond strategically to client needs. Often, you are the first point of contact with your clients, and have the proven ability to rally the team around the client’s needs.
    Demonstrates the critical thinking and problem solving skills to navigate client/business issues.
    Effective influencer of decisions and creative negotiator of mutually beneficial business deals.
    Demonstrates a broad understanding of technology (web, mobile, cloud, search and analytics).
    Charismatic and inspiring presenter with solid written and oral business communication skills.
    Passionate evangelist for our services, capabilities, people and company core values.
    Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
