Short Haul Truck Driver. Road Star Truck Line Ltd. Location Brampton, ON. Salary: 28.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week. Full time. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English. Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience: Experience an asset. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Credentials. Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses. AZ class license. Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
