Right now, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced accountant to join our finance team based in Clayton as our systems accountant.

About the Role: Reporting to our Accounting Systems Manager, this is a critical role within our business and will require a very high level of technical ability.

What a typical day in this role will look like: Managing and maintaining the financial systems and all key system interfaces and reporting systems. Involvement in several ongoing projects ranging from routine upgrades, maintenance, automation, process improvement, and streamlining the financial process. Working closely with our digital team to maintain the stability of the financial system. Ongoing functional support and training to our end-users. Ad hoc requests for information and analysis from various business units. Managing and resolving all finance system issues and queries.

ABOUT YOU: You have a strong systems accounting background and have been the key contact for finance systems in an organisation. Your excellent technical accounting skills and genuine passion for system management will see you succeed. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy providing exceptional customer support and training to end-users. You are a self-motivated individual who likes to be continuously learning.

You will ideally have the following skills, experience, and attributes: High level of systems accounting experience. CPA/CA qualified with strong systems and technical background. Experience working with a demonstrated knowledge of SAP (or ERP equivalent). Cognos Analytics or equivalent experience. Experience with system analysis with the ability to identify data patterns. High-level attention to detail. Confident in dealing with various stakeholders and ability to train other staff. SQL knowledge would be advantageous. Why work with us?.
