Line-Haul Truck Driver, Sea to Sky Courier and Freight Ltd. Location Squamish, BC. Salary 29.00 hourly / 40 hours per week. Full time. Day, Evening, Night, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English. Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience: Experience an asset. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Credentials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Experience and specialization. Documentation knowledge. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).
