A prestigious national construction firm specialising in high-value new build projects exceeding $50M+. Their diverse portfolio includes Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Government, and Multi-residential sectors. With a robust pipeline of projects, they have recently secured multiple new contracts and aim to bolster their team by hiring an experienced Site Manager to ensure project success.

About the Position: We are looking for a highly skilled Site Manager to support the delivery of large Commercial projects valued at $50M+. Working alongside an experienced Project Manager, you will be primarily responsible for assisting the project team in all day-to-day operations and running various projects across Canberra. You will monitor and manage subcontractor works on site and ensure the timely delivery of your projects.

Duties: Lead and manage construction site activities to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met. Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of the site. Ensure compliance needs are met with project specifications, building Codes, and safety regulations. Forward planning, scheduling, and ordering materials. Coordinate and collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders. Toolbox talks, site inductions, WHS management and compliance maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and site records.

Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Site manager, working on projects valued over $50M. Trade qualification in Carpentry. Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Projects/Suites. Showcase a strong track record of stability with previous employers.
