Civil Site Engineer, Design and Build. Sydney NSW. Project Engineering (Engineering). Contract/Temp. 40-65. Design and Build is looking for an experienced civil site engineer required for a large national civil contract, road, and infrastructure experience. The primary objective of this position is to provide on-site engineering services to assist in the achievement of organizational and project objectives.

The Role: Undertake all HSEQ responsibilities as identified for your role in the Project’s Management Plans and associated documents. As required, escalate potential and actual risks that may impact the safe, timely, and cost-efficient delivery of activities under management. Manage quality production defined by method statements and ITPs. Monitor construction progress to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes. Establish, measure, and report daily productivity for assigned activities. Undertake cost controlling and estimating as required by the Project Manager. Develop, monitor, and report on programs for elements of work as required by the Project Manager. Manage work teams in the field. Verify subcontractors’ claims and variations. Undertake procurement as required including use of View Point and ensuring adherence to SWC governance requirements such as authority limits.

Understand, comply, and remain current with all company policies, procedures, and compliance training as relevant to your role. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and application of, legislation, industry standards, and technological innovations as relevant to your role.
