Light Vehicle Mechanic, Saltwater Bay Services. Denham, Geraldton, Gascoyne & Midwest WA. Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy). Full time. $55 – $65 per hour. Saltwater Bay Services is currently seeking Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our team on a Fixed Term Full-Time basis for immediate start, with the option for ongoing permanent employment.

What’s on offer is 2:1 FIFO (from Perth) or DIDO (to Gascoyne region) / 12 Hr shifts. Fixed Term Full-Time Contract (until Nov 2025). $55 - $65 per hour + super. Immediate start available, ongoing Permanent Role for the right person. On-the-job training and skill development. Opportunity to work with heavy mining equipment.

Tasks & responsibilities: Light Vehicle servicing and repairs (Toyota Hilux & Landcruiser, HiAce Buses and Izusu). Diagnostics on vehicles & equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems. Heavy Diesel servicing and repairs as required, on small fleets. Parts, oils, consumables stock takes. Qualifications, skills & experience: LV Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in a similar role servicing light vehicles & equipment (essential). General Heavy Machinery experience with servicing & repairs (preferred). High level of diagnostic skill in electrical & hydraulic systems (preferred). Ability to work with minimal supervision and also in a team environment. Effective communication, attention to detail & time management skills. Current Drivers License (essential). Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol screening (essential)

Obtain a satisfactory current National Police Clearance (essential).
