High Voltage Electrician, Blackwater Energy Solutions. Perth WA. Mining: Engineering and Maintenance (Mining, Resources and Energy). Casual/Vacation. $200,000 – $220,000 per year.

About the role: Blackwater Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join our team. This is a FIFO role on a 2&1 roster in the Pilbara.

What you'll be doing: Experience in VLF testing and high-voltage cable diagnostics. 6kV, 11kV, 22kV, or 33kV cable jointing experience with XLPE cables. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards and procedures. Document work completed and maintain accurate maintenance records. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements.

What we're looking for qualified electrician with a valid high voltage authorization. Experience as a high-voltage Voltage Electrician in a mining or heavy industrial environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent working knowledge of electrical drawings, schematics, and safety procedures. Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible approach to working hours, including the ability to respond to callouts.
