In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering a seamless and personalised home lending experience for our customers. With the flexibility to meet clients in various locations or conduct virtual meetings, you will drive sales growth by providing expert advice on home loans and a range of banking products. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who excels in balancing sales and service excellence while ensuring compliance with lending regulations.
Responsibilities: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering personalised mortgage solutions. Achieve and exceed home loan sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the overall business growth. Proactively source new business opportunities through existing networks and Strategic Partnership events. Manage the complete loan process from application to settlement, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions. Promote a range of mortgage products and services, identifying opportunities for cross-selling. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies in all lending activities. Collaborate closely with internal departments, including credit and operations, to facilitate smooth processing.
Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings to provide informed advice to clients. Maintain accurate records and provide regular sales activity reports. Engage with the community by participating in local events to enhance the bank’s presence and connect with potential customers.

Skills and Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications at Certificate IV level or above, e.g., Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance or Mortgage Lending. FSR Tier 2 Accreditation. Unrestricted driver’s license. Demonstrated experience in the mortgage industry, including handling home loan applications and settlements. Proven track record in business development and networking within the mortgage lending sector. Strong customer service skills, with experience in providing personalised lending advice. Familiarity with home loan products, credit policies, and responsible lending practices. Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve sales targets effectively. Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple loan applications simultaneously.
