About the Role: We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join us as the MAX State Manager for Queensland (QLD) and Northern Territory (NT). MAX, Australia’s premier gaming services provider, specializes in electronic gaming machine (EGM) monitoring, integrity services, and other gaming-related services for pubs, clubs, and similar venues.
As MAX State Manager, you’ll lead and develop the QLD and NT teams with a focus on building relationships with gaming venues, driving business growth, and growing market share. Your key objectives will include: developing and building highly engaged, effective and connected teams across business development, contract management, customer experience, and business process management, developing and implementing strategies for revenue growth through new business development and retention plans; developing plans to achieve and maintain market share targets in support of Tabcorp’s goals and objectives in QLD and NT; partnering with senior leaders across Tabcorp to help inform strategic direction, share opportunities and provide market insights; and
overseeing and reporting on performance management, compliance, and operational efficiency within MAX operations across QLD and NT.
About You: To excel in this role, you’ll be an accomplished leader with a solid background in the gaming, hospitality, or similar industries. You’re ready to lead a diverse team and bring strong commercial, analytical, and critical thinking skills to support company growth and success.
You’ll therefore ideally possess the following: significant leadership experience, preferably in the gaming or hospitality industry; exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills with a high-level attention to detail; proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement; a strong customer-focus with an in-depth knowledge of the QLD/NT club and hotel industry; a proven history in revenue generation and business development; and a background in consultative business development and strategic relationship building.
