Role Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Behaviour support practitioner to join our remote team in south-west Sydney, western Sydney, and surrounds. During this contract position, you will be able to work from home and in the community with clients at their homes or schools while making a meaningful contribution to their lives.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for: Implementing individualised behaviour support plans. Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify and understand behaviour and communication. Providing direct support to participants, utilising evidence-based strategies to promote positive behaviour change.

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including families, carers, and other professionals, to ensure a holistic approach and increase quality of life. Reducing restrictive practices and empowering individuals to reach their full.

Requirements: Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities. A strong understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) or psychology principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Bachelor's degree or higher in Positive Behaviour Support, Social Work, Health Science, Psychology, Disability Studies, or similar or at least 5 years of relevant experience. Previous experience in disability support services is highly regarded.

About You: Certification as a behaviour analyst is desirable but not necessary. Suitability as a behaviour support practitioner through the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is desirable. Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload. Ability to work independently and remotely as needed. Own ABN or willingness to obtain one.
