Your Journey: Join our high-performing team! We have multiple casual opportunities for experienced Dangerous Goods Drivers who hold strong driving history. You'll handle local, linehaul and country routes, including container and rail deliveries. If you're an experienced driver looking for flexible, on-call project work, we'd love to hear from you!
Your success profile: Valid MC/HC licence. Australian citizenship required for security clearance. Must be able to successfully complete police and ASIO checks. Successful pre-employment medical outcome. Baseline or NV1 Security Clearance (or willing to obtain within 6 months). Must hold or be willing to obtain an explosives and dangerous goods licence. Hold MSIC or willingness to obtain. Rail and port induction is a plus. Side loader, SSAN explosive transport experience preferred. Reach stacker and side loader experience beneficial. Experience with local, country, and interstate deliveries.
Responsibilities: Complete deliveries and secure loads safely with load restraint tools. Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and adapt to operational needs. Accurately complete required documentation in accordance with legal requirements. Operate and maintain equipment per company policy and safety standards. Provide professional, courteous service to meet customer needs. Ensure all equipment is operational and maintained as per policy, maintenance systems and specification manuals. Ensure a safe working environment by upholding all health and safety standards and fulfilling legal responsibilities.
