Veterinary Technician, Alpenlofts Veterinary Hospital. Location UNIT 106: 40775 TANTALUS ROAD Squamish, BC. Salary: 22.50 hourly / 40 hours per week. Full time. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English. Education Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. Experience: Experience an asset. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting. Animal hospital.

Responsibilities: Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery. Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery. Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian. Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian. Counsel clients on animal health care. Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist veterinarians with animal dentistry. Provide wound and bandage care.
