Automotive Accounts & Admin Assistant (Part-Time). Trade Cars Direct. Moorabbin, Melbourne VIC, Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support). Part time. $60,000 – $80,000 per year.
THE COMPANY: We are a boutique used vehicle dealership that has experienced continuous growth from both its wholesale and retail divisions over the last 5 years.
THE ROLE: In this newly created role, we are seeking an Automotive Bookkeeper to come on board our team who will also be required to assist with admin duties, helping to support the company Director. The role will be 70% accounting-based and 30% Admin support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Bookkeeper/Accounting: Help maintain accurate records of financial transactions inventory control (using Easy Cars software program DMS) bank reconciliations invoices payroll payment of creditors.
Admin support: Help with the management of Vic Roads (registrations & transfers). Answering phone. Assisting director with daily tasks, e.g., dealing with queries on the phone and via email, booking transport for motor vehicles, organizing and scheduling appointments.
What we're looking for Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the Accounting or Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and software (e.g. MYOB, Xero). Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
