Can you help us to look after the pets of the Gold Coast? We love fixing sick animals, but to achieve all that we do, we need another team member at our front desk. If you have experience as a veterinary Receptionist and take delight in making customers happy, then we want you to help us take our patient care and customer service to the next level. Gold Coast Vet Surgery is a family of 16 enthusiastic and talented animal lovers. Together we have won awards and have grown a fantastic clientele who want to do the best for their pets.

If you are organized, calm under pressure and can multitask, then we’d love to have you join our team. Previous experience in a vet clinic and ideally knowledge of ezyVet software are required. Being the first point of contact for our clinic is a tough and challenging role, but it is also very rewarding. You need to be comfortable fielding a wide variety of inquiries, and no two days are ever the same. We can assure you, you won’t get bored! As we are looking for a permanent Receptionist, this is not a stepping stone to a Veterinary Nursing career; please do not apply if you are ultimately hoping to become a vet nurse.

We need you to be the friendly extension of our vet and nurse teams to help pets and their worried owners. We are a compassionate, family-oriented business. This means that you work alongside the owners of the practice, who understand your workload and challenges and there is no corporate head office to deal with. We all work hard and take our patient care and customer care very seriously, but we do also enjoy a laugh along the way. We are proud of our team and it is important to us that new team members are a good “fit”.

This is a long-term, full-time, permanent position with Saturday mornings on a roster and paid as overtime. There is no afterhours work as we have an excellent afterhours emergency clinic & referral hospital nearby.

We pay above-awarded wages and if you have to work late, overtime is paid. Our salary packages also include a staff discount program and payment of your pet’s pet insurance premiums.
