Duties: To provide administrative and project support and advice to the Office of the State Archivist (OSA), which is a small team that supports state and local government, government business enterprises, state-owned companies, and the University of Tasmania to meet their recordkeeping and information management requirements under the Archives Act 1983 (Tas).
Period of Appointment: Ongoing - ASAP Start Date. Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. Hours per fortnight. 73.5 hours per week.
Essential Requirements: The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child-related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.
