About the Role: We currently have two exciting opportunities for experienced Grade 1 Occupational Therapists to become a valued member of our welcoming and supportive team at Alfred Health. They will be responsible for the provision of Occupational Therapy Services within a designated clinical caseload, appropriate to their level of experience and competency. The successful applicants will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and provide high-quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to patients. This role offers a valuable and unique opportunity to gain clinical experience in a range of settings and clinical areas/settings and first-hand exposure to a patient's journey through the entire continuum of care. The Alfred Health Occupational Therapy rotations are across a range of clinical areas in acute, subacute (rehabilitation and aged care) and community/home-based settings across all sites. The positions available are likely to commence in our subacute service at Caulfield Hospital.

At Alfred Health's Occupational Therapy Service, we offer regular clinical supervision and avenues for continuous professional development, ensuring a dynamic and fulfilling career path for our dedicated therapists. At Alfred Health, the Occupational Therapy service delivers a seven-day model of care and the incumbent in this role may be required to assist with weekend service provision on a periodic basis.

Skills & Experience: Grade 1 classification. B. App Sc (OT), B. Occupational Therapy, MOT practiceor recognised equivalent. Full registration is held with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (via AHPRA). Member of OT Australia (or eligibility for membership). Core clinical Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention skills. Effective interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work well within a team environment and relate to medical, nursing and allied health staff, patients and families

Recent experience working in acute or subacute inpatient services (and/or relevant experience as a student) is desirable.
