About the Role: We are dedicated to providing essential support to women and children experiencing family violence. Our Safe House is a vital resource for those in crisis, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Safe House Officer to join our team.
The Essentials: An understanding of domestic violence and family violence. An understanding of mandatory reporting legislation. Adaptability and flexibility with the ability to respond positively to new and unexpected situations. Good communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality. A current National Criminal History Check (within the last 3 months). A current Northern Territory Working with Children’s Clearance (Ochre Card).

The Finer Details: Casual position paying at Level 3 Pay Point 1 of the Barkly Regional Council Enterprise Agreement 2023. Hourly Rate of $34.93 (including 25% causal loading).
