Physiotherapy Assistant, Holistic Home Care. Location: Brampton, ON. Salary: 19.00 to 25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35 hours per week. Full time. Evening, Weekend, On Call, Morning. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English. Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Experience 3 years to less than 5 years.

Responsibilities: Assess patients' physical abilities. Assist health care professionals. Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Develop information materials for patients. Examine the patient. Help physical therapists. Set up and dismantle equipment. Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Record vital signs. Plan physiotherapy programs. Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation. Collect statistics. Maintain supplies. Conduct research in physiotherapy. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Perform general clerical duties. Process files and paperwork. Schedule and confirm appointments. Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history. Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Credentials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses. First Aid Certificate
