Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst (Line 2)—Superannuation, Kaizen Recruitment. Melbourne VIC

Working closely with the Head of Risk, you will undertake the following:

Key Responsibilities: Provide Line 2 independent review, check challenge and assurance of Line 1 activities, including performing Line 2 risk and controls assurance; Lead and support the business in developing risk registers, identifying, analyzing and monitoring risks, documenting and assessing controls, performing control effectiveness testing, and developing effective Key Risk Indicators; Analyze data to produce meaningful data-driven insights and deliver insightful risk reporting to the Board, Risk Committee and Management; Assisting in the design and implementation of risk frameworks, policies, procedures and processes; Provide risk management expertise and advice to the business to support the implementation of risk frameworks in line with the enterprise risk strategy and risk appetite; AND Work as a major player in the team to migrate from the legacy platform into the new GRC platform, Protecht.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Have demonstrated Line 2 risk analyst experience within financial services—ideally from within a superannuation fund; Tertiary qualifications in law, economics, business, commerce or related field preferred; Previous experience working with GRC Protecht or other GRC systems such as GRC Archer, Risk Logic, etc. Possess sound practical knowledge of superannuation laws and business rules; Strong organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, activities and projects simultaneously.

Strong verbal and report-writing skills; ability to communicate with influence. Ability to exercise sound judgment, independently navigate and problem-solve in a complex environment.
