About the role: The Data Analyst Lead will be joining the Customer Data Office and will play a crucial role within an ongoing data uplift program. You will lead delivery and thought leadership in all things data, partnering with other technical SMEs and business senior stakeholders.
Some of the responsibilities include: analyzing and collating complex datasets to support technical requirements and data uplift initiatives. Leverage your technical skills to perform sophisticated distributional and statistical insights and analytics work to support business initiatives. Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into informative dashboards. Ensure dashboard infrastructure and assets are maintained to meet stakeholder SLAs. Investigate and resolve any data quality issues that emerge from upstream data processing issues. Direct-squad SMEs working on a variety of data products.

This role will require some of the following competencies: Tertiary Qualification in computer science, data science, statistics, or other relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent significant practical experience. Proven experience in data analysis, with strong skills in SQL, Excel, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience leading delivery and/or technical direct reports (or resources). Ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner. Broad knowledge of cloud data systems and products and experience in delivery of data projects (exposure to PowerBI, Redshift, Databricks, AWS, & Azure DevOps is a big plus). Great written and verbal communication skills with proven success in communicating complex analysis across all levels within a business.
