Lake Kawana Pharmacy, Sunshine Coast. Lake Kawana Pharmacy is seeking an experienced full-time Pharmacy Assistant, preferably with previous dispensary exposure, to join our growing team within our very special Pharmacy. Lake Kawana Pharmacy is a locally owned & operated community pharmacy located within the Sunshine Coast Surgical & Specialist Centre at Birtinya. Not just a busy community pharmacy with a strong & loyal local community following, Lake Kawana Pharmacy also looks after the needs of Lake Kawana General Practice, the Kawana Private Hospital, and a multitude of Specialist Clinics. As a result, this unique position provides multi-faceted exposure to provision of pharmacy services over a wide range of both community & professional service offerings.

This is a full-time Monday to Friday position, offering generous remuneration with NO weekend or after-hours work commitments. This unique position offers a wide exposure to a variety of community Pharmacy offerings, including all aspects of dispensing & provision of prescriptions, scheduled medicines/retail pharmacy product recommendations & sales, working alongside pharmacists both independently & in a team environment setting, direct liaison with customers & patients in meeting their health outcomes, assisting with dispensary management & operation in conjunction with our pharmacists, and liaising with both Medical center & Hospital Doctors & Staff in the day-to-day operational functions of the pharmacy.

The successful applicant should possess sound organizational skills, have the ability to work both independently & in a team environment, have a sound knowledge of community pharmacy, & be comfortable liaising with people from all walks of life & from all professions.  Prior pharmacy experience is an essential pre-requisite, as is the ability to embrace and deliver the highest level of customer service delivery, and previous dispensary experience is a considerable advantage.
