Reporting to the Safety & Operations Development Manager, your role will include: General administration & coordination of matters relating to safety administration in the business; supporting and liaising with Branch Managers and personnel across 10 sites in QLD & NT.
Ensuring safety databases are up to date. Ensuring all safety and compliance documentation is maintained regularly and up-to-date including the monitoring of activities driven by a Calendar. Following up Supervisors supervisors and branch managers and supporting them, helping them understand and manage the requirements pertaining to safety administration at their sites. Resolving / working through issues with them. Ensuring all WH& S matters, meetings, certificates, rehab plans, etc are followed up and through to completion. Monitoring safety systems and reporting to supervisors any non-compliance or missing information if required. Ideally, you will have a proven background in administration and coordination work (3+ years)—having ideally worked in a similar role involved in safety and compliance administration.
You will demonstrate: Strong general administration skills. Excellent attention to detail. The ability to multitask and complete tasks on time. Strong follow-up skills. Great co-ordination skills with the ability to liaise with a range of supervisors and managers in a business to manage information, data input and updating of systems (online or otherwise). Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise easily with people in a “non-policing” manner. Build relationships internally. Strong IT skills, including Excel and ERP systems, as well as having used different software systems, including specialist safety software. Excellent time management skills. Great career opportunity.
