Marketing and Event Coordinator is responsible for marketing, advertising, and PR activities across a number of events. This involves integrated marketing, including social media, email marketing, website maintenance and search engine optimization. This role will also work closely with our PR and media partners, venues and ticketing agents, sponsors and partners to support the execution of marketing campaigns from a digital and offline perspective and ensure event marketing objectives are clearly met.
Requirements: Prior experience in integrated marketing and advertising campaigns. Prior experience researching and creating marketing content for website, EDMsand social media accounts in both English and Chinese. Prior experience in SEO, including backlinking and keywords, is essential. Knowledge in Google AdWords preferred. Good understanding of and familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g. MailChimp) and website content management systems (e.g. Squarespace , Wordpress). Experience assisting with maintaining the marketing budget and liaising with external contractors and vendors.
You are tech-savvy and pay great attention to detail. You have excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoy working collaboratively with others. You are proactive and eager to share innovative ideas with the team. You are able to work outside normal business hours during peak periods to meet project deadlines. Tertiary qualifications in media, event management, marketing, communications or a related discipline is essential. Competent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Word, Excel, and Power Point, and basic graphic design and video editing skills. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential.
