Ignite Community Network will work in partnership with Individuals, their families, mainstream providers and the disability sector to ensure an Individual’s services are innovative, flexible and person-centered.
The Position: We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated and driven person to join our growing team. Reporting to our CEO, the Operation's Manager will oversee all aspects of service delivery, funding and relationship management. You will also oversee the Services Team and provide management, direction and strategy to the team, who provide day-to-day services for people with disabilities.
Main Duties/Responsibilities: Program Implementation and Development Expected Deliverables. Develop, implement, and monitor operational and other program plans. Develop, lead and manage service delivery including risk management. Identify targets and evaluate service delivery and program performance. Onboarding of new Individuals. Develop policies and procedures in line with service delivery. Financial and Contractual Management Expected Deliverables. Monitor and audit performance against funding/contractual requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including funding bodies and peak organizations. Monitor sector trends and identify innovative and contemporary practices. Monitor funding to ensure that services are facilitated within the scope of the Individual's NDIS plan. Relationship Management Expected Deliverables.
Develop and maintain effective communication and collaboration with employees of the Organization. Develop and maintain open and effective communication to foster and promote a culture of family and person-centered services. Represent Ignite Community Network on committees, working parties, forums, seminars and attend meetings, whilst acting in the best interests of the Organization. Projects Expected Deliverables. Assist in the preparation of grants and funding applications. Participate in internal and external audits in line with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission Practice. Standards to promote a culture of continuous quality improvement. Collate feedback and evaluation results to embed best practice. This is a full time position for a maximum term of 12 months based at our Head Office in Cockburn Central.
Selection Criteria: Please Note - Applicants with the following skills will be considered for the position
Essential: Tertiary qualification in relevant field. Experience with NDIS frameworks, principles and legislation. Proven experience in managing disability services. High level experience in establishing and maintaining networks. Proven experience providing leadership and coaching to a team/s. Experience in supervision, performance management, workforce development and planning, disputes and grievance resolution. Understand/support the principles of individualized services with the ability to provide a service consistent with the principles of choice and control. Highly developed written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
