Senior Estimator, Heavy Fabrication. Allspec Engineering Pty Ltd, Hope Valley, Perth WA, Estimating (Construction), Full time. Allspec Engineering Pty Ltd is an established fabrication business that has provided fabrication services for the last decade to the mining industry within Western Australia.

As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for tendering from enquiry through to submission with full accountability for your own workload. Project scope will be diverse with the below core duties.

Core duties not limited to: Liaising with clients on all aspects of the tender process. Sourcing and liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors as required to successfully price tender. Compiling all aspects of the tender, clearly outlining inclusions and exclusions. Estimating using first principle, norms and tonnage rates methods. Undertaking negotiations with both suppliers and clients.

Working closely with the project delivery team to ensure effective handover and execution to meet client expectations and ensure project profitability. Utilizing our software to prepare and complete estimates.

Essential: Certificate III in Engineering—Fabrication Trade or Bachelor Mechanical or Structural Engineering or Project Manager in heavy fabrication With 5 years experience in heavy steel fabrication estimating.

Desirable: Experience with STRUMIS is desirable but not essential.
