Persolkelly is seeking Automation Test Engineers to join one of their Global Client based in Sydney!

As a software automation test engineer, you will be responsible for the testing and quality of next-generation building platforms and products. 4 Months Assignment; possibility of extension. Preferred who can join immediately.

Responsibilities: Ownership for the Test Automation Environment. Technical Leadership for Automation test team. Mentor peers on best practice and aid in their delivery of test cases. Proactively identify areas for improvement in the quality and maintainability of the test suite. Automation of test scripts for legacy product functionality. Automation of test scripts for new functionality in parallel with the development of the software by the agile scrum teams. Understanding of the functional and non-functional requirements of the system being tested, the domain in which it is used and its subsystems. Work closely with developers, testing in parallel, to uncover performance and capacity issues in preliminary designs. Record clear reproduction steps for all defects found, log in the defect tracking system, and work closely with development teams to have defect resolved.

Actively analyse testing results to uncover trends and patterns in software quality

You shall have Experience with C# Experience with building automation code using various tools (NodeJS, Python, batch files) Experience with Jira (defect and task tracking software) Behavior-driven development languages. Automation test case development and execution. Traceability of test cases to requirements. Testing within an agile/scrum environment. Experience driving automation for large and complex end-user products throughout software development lifecycle.
