About the Role We're seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our Mobile Services team at Wilmar's mills. These positions are located at various sites, including Plane Creek Mill in Sarina and Victoria Mill in Ingham. As a Diesel Fitter, you'll be working in a dynamic environment, maintaining and repairing our critical locomotive fleet and mobile plant. This is a permanent, daywork position with opportunities for overtime and some weekend work. You'll have the chance to dive into a role that offers both challenges and rewards, making a real impact in an industry that's unlike any other.

Your Qualifications & Experience

Our ideal candidates will have: Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Diesel Fitter) or Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology. Proven experience in servicing and repairing diesel engines and mobile plants, with a strong background in heavy industrial work.

Desirable (but not essential) Skills: Confined Space Ticket. Working at Heights Ticket. Construction Card. Hydraulics. Dogman Licence. Forklift Licence. Overhead Crane Ticket. Welding Skills. Even if you don't have all the qualifications, we value the right attitude and are ready to provide the necessary training for the right candidates.
