About the business: Smartmart has had sites over WA in the last 25 years. The position is for Geraldton, WA. We are a BP-branded Service station located on Flores road. Our site offers high-quality dine-in and takeaway food, drinks, and boutique coffee, along with busy service station operations. Geraldton site opens 6 days a week. On weekdays from 6am to 6pm and on Saturday 7am to 1pm. You must be flexible in your working hours. This is a busy workplace; the successful applicant must be able to work in a motivated environment.

For this position, we are looking for people who: have the right to work in Australia, a positive disposition is essential; are open, friendly and engaging with a focus on customer service; have up-selling skills; are motivated team players; are able to follow company’s procedures and standards, maintain a high standard of shop front service and facilities; are vigilant about surroundings, such as fuel safety retail or barista experience looked upon favorably; and have a strong commitment to high standard of safety and hygiene at all time. Kitchen staffs must have 1-2 years cooking experience in a small, busy environment.

Duties include : controlling safety on the forecourt, operating POS and promoting up-selling. General cleaning tasks using approved chemicals, maintaining a safe working environment, putting stocks away, cash handling, food preparation and food handling.
