We are looking for a site engineer to manage all on-site activities for our fit-out projects. Region: Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented site engineer to oversee and manage all on-site activities for our fit-out projects. The site engineer will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and timelines. Coordinate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure that all materials used and work performed meet quality standards as specified in the contract documents.
Quality Assurance & Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction work adheres to design specifications, safety standards, and building codes. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies on-site to prevent project delays. Prepare and submit detailed site reports, including daily progress logs, quality assessments, and safety checks.
Coordination & Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and collaboration. Attend site meetings, provide updates on project status, and address any concerns raised by stakeholders. Ensure that all site personnel are aware of their responsibilities and work in accordance with project requirements.
Health & Safety: Implement and enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site. Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for site workers, ensuring a safe working environment. Investigate and report any accidents or incidents on-site, implementing corrective measures as needed.
Resource Management: Manage and supervise site labor, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure optimal resource allocation. Monitor and control project costs, minimize waste, and ensure efficient use of materials and equipment. Assist in the procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
