Medical Receptionist, South City Respiratory Centre. Jindalee, Brisbane, QLD. Medical Administration (Healthcare & Medical). Full time. $30–$34.99 per hour.

Our main clinic is situated in the Mt. Gravatt Medical Precinct, a multi-story building located at Logan Road. We July 2020, we have provided quality and affordable respiratory consultation and lung function services to the local population. From July 2024, we will open a new clinic in Allsports Shopping Village, Jindalee, to expand our service to Southern-west areas in Brisbane.

Tasks & responsibilities: To provide high-quality customer and secretarial services to patients, doctors and other practice staff. A typical day will include. Opening and/or closing the practice. Answering and directing calls. Booking appointments for doctors and/or allied health providers. Invoicing, accepting, and receiving payments for both in-patient and out-patient services provided by the doctors and launching medicare rebate. Scanning, faxing, filling, posting and shredding documents. Other related and appropriate duties as directed by the doctors. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, part-time at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree is desirable. Experience: Current experience as a medical receptionist is desirable but not mandatory.

Skills: Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication. Knowledge of Gentu or similar medical practice management software is desirable. Knowledge of Microsoft outlook, MS word, Excel, PDF and other common software. Ability to prioritise and organise with high attention to detail.

Performance goals: be able to work independently with high efficiency and accuracy. Develop patient-focused approach with genuine empathy and interest in their needs. suitable candidate will be shortlisted and interviewed.
