Halfway House Worker, The Governing Council of the Salvation Army. Location 318 Windmill Road Dartmouth, NS. Salary 18.50 hourly / 1 to 40 hours per week. Casual employment. Part time. Evening, Night, Weekend, Morning. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English. Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Experience Will train. Work site environment. Corrections. Work setting. Half-way house.

Responsibilities: Administrative and office activities. Refer offenders to community and social services programs. Liaise with the inmates' families and contacts in the community. Housekeeping activities. Provide suicide and crisis intervention. Resolve conflict situations. Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses. Supervision, 16-20 people, Credentials, Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate.
