Restaurant Cook
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift
Salary: $15.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Gratuities, Other Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Cook Categories: Cook (general), Short order cook

Food Preparation Specializations: Stocks, soups and sauces, Eggs and dairy, Cold kitchen (salads, appetizers, sandwiches), Vegetables, fruits, nuts and mushrooms, Meat, Poultry, Pasta, Fish, Seafood
Types of Meals/Food Prepared: Short orders, All meals
Specific Skills: Prepare and cook full course meals, Plan menus, Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions, Work with minimal supervision, Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.), Clean kitchen and work areas, Wash dishes
Work Location Information: Staff accommodation provided, Room and board provided, Rural community, Willing to relocate

Other Information:FREE ROOM & BOARD Exp. cook to work alone in 50 seat restaurant. Cleaning, dishes, prepping required. Some table service required in off season. Family restaurant menu. 40+ hours in summer.
