POSITION DESCRIPTION: Job Title: Marketing Coordinator. Employment Status: Part-time, 4 days per week, with potential to grow to full-time. Department, location: Head Office, Cheltenham VIC/Melbourne CBD/WFH.
Reporting To: Marketing and Tech Leader.

MARKETING COORDINATOR
Job Description
As LifeChanger’s Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting and executing the marketing activities and strategy to grow LifeChanger’s impact, income and brand awareness.
Specific areas of focus will be across campaign planning and multi-channel execution, partnerships and ambassadors, events and activations, and social media channels.
You will work closely with the wider LifeChanger team and agency partners to develop detailed campaign and social content plans, ensuring it resonate with LifeChanger’s distinctive style and tone and meet strategic objectives.
Some of the exciting things you will be doing if you join us are: Collaborating with the leadership team on strategic planning of fundraising campaigns, ambassadors and events. Utilizing insights to pitch cultural and socially-led content and campaign ideas relevant to the foundation. Efficiently develop and help manage content calendars and production timelines to ensure timely delivery and consistent posting frequency. Planning, coordinating and executing the creation of marketing collateral and brand experiences, including presentations, flyers, workbooks, etc using and building on existing Canva templates in collaboration with agency partners.
Creating and executing regular engaging email journeys (eDMs), including testing and scheduling, with the support of the tech specialist. Supporting the Marketing Leader and SLT in development of PR and media opportunities. Staying informed about industry trends and platform updates, incorporating innovative ideas into campaign and content strategies, and providing regular feedback to the team. Working collaboratively with Tech, Marketing, Partnerships, and program leaders.
Requirements:
Marketing Management: Understanding of foundational marketing concepts such as audience targeting, value proposition development, messaging and channel tactics. Understanding of digital marketing concepts includes links, redirects, tracking, impressions, attribution, and inbound vs. outbound. Experience with copywriting and marketing collateral creation in line with brand guidelines.
Social Media Management: Familiarity with various social media platforms and their best practices. Ability to create and manage social media content, community and campaigns, building brand consistency through tone of voice and reinforcing brand values and mission.
Digital Platforms and Channels: Familiarity with website content management systems and email automation for publishing content. Ability to produce content and collateral in various formats, including text, images, slide decks, videos, emails, and websites, using Canva templates and agency design partners
Creativity and Innovation: Ability to think creatively and come up with new and innovative content and campaign tactical ideas. Insatiable drive to understand humans and their behaviour at a macro and micro scale.
Projects: Stickler for everything being logged and tracked through Asana.
Bonus points for: Understanding of digital campaign measurement across awareness, impressions, engagement and conversion across social media advertising and search advertising. Deep understanding of terms such as CAC, CPM, ROMI, ROI and LTV. Knowledge of search engine optimisation fundamentals. Experience with events coordination and support. Experience with press release creation and media relations. Familiarity or experience with fundraising.
Skills and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a similar field is preferred but not essential. Strong experience Canva has strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography and image editing. Previous experience in a similar position (min. 2 years). Experience with end-to-end management of social media channels and online campaigns. Ability to write engaging content and communications. Photography, videography and Canva editing skills. Sound awareness of best practice to drive engagement and action on digital platforms and understanding of how to target audiences with various types of content.
Ability to plan and manage competing deadlines and priorities. Strong communication skills . Excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated knowledge and interest in digital trends, digital media and emerging technologies. Excellent written, verbal, presentation and communication skills. Email Marketing Experience and EDM platform management knowledge.
