Add expected salary to your profile for insights. Nuage Technology Group has partnered with a trading company that’s on the hunt for a senior data engineer. This is a pivotal role that will help take the company to the next level and enable them to utilise the power of data to drive best practices across an organisation that is expected to undergo gigantic growth over the next few years.

The Role: This is a senior hands-on role working across a global high-frequency platform, focusing on building ETL pipelines, data models, creating data sets, and implementing a new data warehouse. The role requires an engineer who loves both cloud-native and on-premises technologies, with a keen interest in observability and reliability.

Your Profile: Extensive experience as a data engineer, preferably from a software development background. Experience in building ETL pipelines and data models. Experience across streaming data: Kafka, Spark, and Airflow. Python programming expertise. Experience with data cleansing and data quality control. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code. On-premises experience with Bare Metal, Chef, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker.  Previous architectural design and product ownership experience.
