Overview: We are assisting a QLD government Agency seeking a highly skilled Analyst experienced in reviewing Access management and permissions. You will assist with the review and optimisation of roles and permissions in their RAPID system, which manages client loans and grants. This position requires a deep understanding of security roles and permissions, especially within database systems, and expertise in role-based access control (RBAC). The goal is to streamline existing roles and permissions and potentially align and integrate them with Active Directory (AD) groups for more efficient user management. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyse existing roles and permissions in the RAPIDS system. Rationalize and streamline roles and permissions for enhanced security and efficiency. Align roles and permissions with AD groups to facilitate easier user management. Review and structure AD management, making recommendations for improvements. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct business and systems analysis to identify areas for improvement in access management. Collaborate with the change management team for smooth implementation of new access controls. Provide expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). Develop and maintain documentation related to access management processes and procedures. Potential involvement in the implementation of recommended changes and improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Extensive experience with the Amazon tech stack. Proficiency in JAVA programming. Strong database knowledge and experience with database security. In-depth understanding of Active Directory (AD) and its integration with access management systems. Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). Proven experience in business analysis and systems analysis. Strong understanding of role-based access control (RBAC) and role-based computing. Experience with change management processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
