Languages English. Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience. Experience 2 years to less than 3 years. Work setting. Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Staff accommodation is available.

Responsibilities: Book appointments. Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Shampoo customers' hair. Shave and trim beards and mustaches. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting, and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Apply hair extensions. Clean and style wigs and hair pieces. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Suggest a hairstyle compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Perform receptionist duties. Credentials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses. Hairstylist Trade Certification. Experience and specialization. Hair styling techniques. Blow drying. Iron waving/curling. Extensions. Relaxing. Pin curls. Roller setting. Hair colouring techniques. Bleach, dyes or tints, frosting, streaking, or highlights.
