Add expected salary to your profile for insights. We are seeking experienced Civil Construction operators to join the Civil works infrastructure team at the Surf Coast Shire in Torquay. Great Local Government opportunity. Monday – Friday. ASAP Start. Temporary FT positions with the potential to be longer-term. This is your opportunity to work within a local government organisation

What We Need: Plant operating experience. Civil construction labor experience. Truck Licence MR / HR  ESSENTIAL. Local Government experience. Excellent work ethic. Strong values & hard work. Proven knowledge in this field. Available 5 days per week. Physically fit, as majority of manual work

Main Focus: Effectively participate in various working crews.

Duties could include: Maintenance and construction, truck driving and laboring, drainage and asphalt teams. Manual handling tasks requiring lifting, digging, raking, sweeping, shoveling, leveling, cleaning and driving. Required to carry out tasks according to company policies in timely and safe, efficient manner, following OH&S guidelines as instructed.

 Details Details: Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm. Temp to Perm (based on performance). ASAP Start. Weekly pay cycle. Must have: Truck license, CIC (White Card).
