Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Experience 1 year to less than 2 years. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: Lay out reference points and patterns. Plan the sequence of to cut metal most efficiently. Study engineering drawings and blueprints. Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements. Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures. Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines. Construct patterns and templates.
