A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join their high-performing team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have a broad scope of responsibilities, including: Monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. Assist in preparing the performance of variance analysis on budget, actual reporting, general ledger and projects. Contribute to month-end and year-end lodgement processes (BAS, PAYG, and IAS). Review, analyse and prepare yearly audit file, while liaising with third-party providers, clients and suppliers. Drive process improvement and system enhancement initiatives. Undertake ad hoc tasks as required.

To be considered for this role, you will have at least 3–4 years' experience working in the finance department within a large organisation, be degree-qualified and ideally commencing study towards a CPA/CA. You will also have excellent communication skills, be an analytical thinker and problem solver with high attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a collaborative and committed team.
