Senior Occupational Therapist, Caring for People Provider. Officer, West Gippsland & Latrobe Valley VIC. Physiotherapy, OT & Rehabilitation (Healthcare & Medical). Full time. $100,000 – $120,000 per year.
The Occupational Therapist will assist people in overcoming limitations caused either by injury or illness, psychological or emotional difficulties, and developmental delay or the effects of aging. They will also assist people in moving from dependence to independence while maximising their productivity, well-being, and quality of life.
All practices are participant-focused and promote their choices, rights and decisions. Due to the variable nature of participants, this role requires the worker to promote participants' voices, choices and report any areas of concern. competitive hourly rates (above award) according to level of experience and autonomy. OT’s Contractor & Employee Requirements and Responsibilities: Current Bachelors or Masters qualification within your discipline degree for Occupational Therapy/Speech Pathology. Current WWCC. Registered ABN (Contractors). Professional liability and indemnity insurance (Contractors). Current AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration *Applicable for Occupational Therapists. Current Occupational Therapy/Speech Therapy Australia Membership. Current Australian Driver's License and own vehicle. Minimum 2 years paediatric-specific OT/ST experience
Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously in an organised manner. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Must experience in Assessments. We would love to hear from you!!
