Home Support Worker, Company: Private Home. Location: Victoria, BC. Job Details. Provide care and companionship for two seniors over 65 years old. Work minimum 30 hours per week. Work hours may vary depending on the health condition of the client, that may require working weekend or night shifts when care needs arise. Work hours can be adjusted based on real-time situation. 10 days paid leave after completing 1 year of employment.

Job Duties: Provide personal care of two seniors and take them out for walks and shopping. Provide the companionship. Prepare nutritious meals for both seniors and assist in feeding as needed. Do the laundry and grocery shopping regularly? Taking two seniors for daily activities such as walking, indoor or outdoor, playground and story time. Light housekeeping, such as vacuuming and mopping the floor, washing dishes and making bed, cleaning toilet seats and vanities,. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.

Type of Job: Full-Time 30 hours/week. Salary: CAD 22.20/hour. Min. Experience. Home support or caregiving experiences is required. Mandarin ability is an asset. Min. Education. Secondary school education. First Aid, CPR or other caregiving-related certifications are preferred.
