We are a new, exciting premium fresh produce and grocery store looking for passionate and experienced Casual and full-time staff for our Produce Section.

While previous experience is a must, we will also provide extra on-the-job training while working with a team of people who are committed to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy and pace.

Qualifications & experience: Experience working with fresh produce in a retail or wholesale environment. An eye for detail for quality control and experience with fresh produce displays and merchandising. Equipped with a strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done correctly and efficiently,. Understanding of stock control procedures, including waste, quality and shrinkage

Tasks & responsibilities: Display set up, including washing, trimming, cutting, hydrating, refreshing and rotating of all stock. Build attractive displays and execute first-in, first-out standards. Carry out and assist the produce manager with all associated duties, including loading and unloading of stock. Attend to a variety of packing, wrapping and cutting tasks. Assisting customers in purchasing fresh products and answering questions in a polite and friendly manner. Uphold hygiene and safety standards in accordance with legislation and all OH&S policies. Be pro-active in seeing what needs to be done, being able to be physically moving constantly with moderate lifting and reaching.

Rotation of stock in various cool rooms to ensure the first-in, first-out method and to ensure quality control. You must have a 'can do' attitude and be honest and reliable.
