A leading marine and shipping service organization is looking for a sales engineer in Saudi Arabia.

Work Scope and Job Responsibilities: Searching for new clients who could benefit from our products in a designated region. Traveling to visit potential clients. Establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with customers. Establishes new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedules. Managing and interpreting customer requirements. Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs. Negotiating tender and contract terms.

Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions. Offering after-sales support services. Administering client accounts; recording and maintaining client contact data. Meeting regular sales targets and achieving monthly targets set by the company. Support marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events. Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs. Liaising with other members of the sales team and providing other technical support and team. Attending to and responding to customer queries. Follow up on customer requirements and feedback and obtain feedback.

Ensure proper service to the client. Maintain business relationships with customers of all levels. Develop close relationships with clients and relevant departments in order to ensure sales and payment needs in the future. Keep day-to-day contacts and regular visits with clients. Monitor market activities and update the management team with periodical reports. Coordinate with stores and logistics for the material delivery. Follow the procedures of the company for executing sales. Expand existing customers with effective planning and presentation. Provide accurate market information through a weekly sales report and consolidated monthly sales reports to the top management.

Responsible for developing new markets and studying market strategies to increase sales. Preparation of sales reports, payment collection, and follow-up on outstanding payments. Maintain a list of clients with sales margins. Update oneself with current affairs and new technologies. Must be conversant with quality and HSE systems and procedures. Work as a team with the sales department; contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering. Well-versed in the market. Must have 4+ years of experience in sales; advantage in safety products. Good English communication.
